Fixed - product category large image too big

Just in case anyone would find this useful...

 

I'm using PS 1.4 with the new presta theme. When clicking on a category, I found that the large image at the top was too big and overlapped the box behind. Here's how I fixed it:

 

1. Go to /themes/prestashop_new and open scenes.tpl

2. At around line 41, change the 'width' to 523px and insert 'background-repeat:no-repeat;'

 

Now the large image is displaying correctly.

1. Go to /themes/prestashop_new and open scenes.tpl

There is no need to modify any core file to fix image size problems. Image dimensions can be configured in Back Office > Preferences > Images. Remember to regenerate all thumbnails afterwards.
