ProsjektX
Just activated a shop and have a big problem. I had planned on using Excel to maintain products, combinations etc with some useful macros to help out. But it's a big problem how combinations are handled. Every now and then you want to update storage of some combinations or add new combinations of course. 1. If I only import without deleting, I see new sets of comination id's being added in the database, and second for combinations with price adjustments, you will now see a price of either 0 or the adjustment value in the shop... 2. If I import combinations but selecting delete all during import the combination ID might change if new products/combinations where added or deleted, it all depends upon the row number. BUT, imagine a customers already have products with combinations in the carts, then the cart will be messed up too!! And I guess orders etc will be messed up too. So how the heck can we handle updating of combinations in a reliable way!? Isn't this a basic function? Using PS 1.4.7.
phrasespot
It may be a bug, not possible to tell as you do not give specific examples/steps. If you are experiencing unexpected behaviour, the best thing to do would be to document the exact steps required a recreate it and open an issue ticket. ProsjektX
Yes, I already added an entry to the bug tracker. I found actually a similar case already reported though. But I would say it's a bug, yes. http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCFI-4708 Edited May 15, 2012 by ProsjektX (see edit history)
