Moving hosts, getting white page

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I've just tried to copy my shop from one host to another. The hostingcompany is the same, so I figured most details would remain the same.

Unfortunately i'm coming up with a white page when I try the new URL. I can enter the admin page no problem. I've followed steps from older topics, but I can't really figure out where i've gone wrong.

I have:

- Copied all files to new host

- Changed config to the new DB user/pw

- Copied database to new host

At first it said "Cannot establish link to database" but that's fixed now, however its just a white page. In the admin it shows all database data (old orders etc.) so it seems to be connection properly.

Anyone any suggestion as to how to fix this?

Regards,

Dave

Optionele parameters: Raadpleeg de volgende fout(en)

I saw someone posting the following in another topic, but my FTP manager says: "500 CHMOD not understood"

chmod 755 .

chmod -R g+rwx img mails modules themes/prestashop/lang translations upload download

chmod g+w config upload download tools/smarty/compile/ sitemap.xml config/settings.inc.php

chmod -R a+rwx img

Any ideas?

Yes. The only thing I didnt do was closing the shop when downloading it. Could this be the problem? Currently looks like this front end: http://www.kartalin.nl/order/ As you can see BO works fine: http://www.kartalin.nl/order/iadmin

Please try contacting your hosting company. Usually, this is something they can handle with an Apache update.
