Mike Kranzler
Is this a brand-new installation, or was it working previously? -Mike

Mike Kranzler
Brand new just downloaded today. In that case, can you please try deleting the install from MAMP, clearing your database via phpMyAdmin and trying the installation one more time from scratch and let me know if the issue persists? -Mike

Mike Kranzler
Have you installed previous versions of PrestaShop on MAMP without any issues in the past? -Mike
spuhg5
Yes. Also, I checked that magic_quotes are off in php.ini and it says "off" there, but presta shop install says it's not "off". Mike Kranzler
Hi spuhg5 and Viruzzz, We have run multiple tests on this, and I even just did my own clean local installation on WAMP without any issues. Without more details, it is very difficult to properly identify the root cause of your problem, but this appears to be an issue with your localhost installation. However, if you do feel that this is a bug I invite you to post a report on it here. -Mike
