Another Paypal Problem :(

Well I'm about to delete this program, which is sad since I like it alot. But can't get the paypal module to work. It seems you can't get api information with Paypal standard, well not in Canada anyway. Paypal standard works by the email address of the account. Reading the paypal docs, they only give out api information with paypal pro etc. With paypal standard, you have to use their "pay by paypal" button or email address. I tried testing other software like Avactis and its paypal module works perfect for paypal standard, but I don't like the program. So is there a real working module for PrestaShop that works for paypal standard or do I need to move on to another piece of software?

In the backoffice select the "Payment" tab and check that PayPal is set for Canada ie. your country and for your selected currency.

 

Save for each type of change you make.

 

This did it for me.

 

Shocked that no one has answered the numerous similar questions about PayPal. Going to the Payments tab instead of the module configuration page illuminated the issue for me.
