editing home featured on prestashop alt theme

Recommended Posts

hello

Just to say a massive thanks to the PS community already for all the help offered so far

Just to ask if anybody out there can help with this question

I have prestashop alt theme and at the moment it shows 4 coulmns with a gap at the right but the hm featured products are quite narrow and are cutting off half of the title

I have tried widening it on the tpl home featured mod and it just pushes the 4th column down but dosent weiden the description or image

the question is

How can i make it 3 columns wide - in the center of the main block with a wider title (rather than the "..." at the mo.

here is my page so youll see what i mean

thanks in advance :D

Ok, this is very multi pronged. First you have what is called an inline style limiting your home featured to 150px. you should widen it to about 220px. But then that is going to make your pictures small and to the left. So in the back office go to preferences >> images and select the home image. Change it to about 215 x 215. (you might have to play with this number) then rebuild those thumbnails and see how it looks.

One thing you are more than likely going to run into is that your add to cart button will stay the same size and hang towards the left. you can either center it or widen it.

Hi

Thanks for the reply

I changed the inline style on the homefeatured tpl and it widened it and made only 3 products per line, but unfortunately the title of the product was the same width and had "..." after it cutting half of it off,

Do you know how i can widen the title of the product also?
