Spudz
I am trying to export from Excel a CSV file to import into prestashop, but some of the text fields have carriage returns. Is there a way to import these into these into prestashop and keep the carriage returns intact, or do I have to replace them with a dash or something>? jhnstcks
I presume you are talking about the description has carriage returns, you will have to go through and add html formating, as webpages in general wont recogniase a normal carriage return. Spudz
Thanks jhn, it actually had to do with the formatting of the actual CSV file - I wasn't aware that the CSV format would preserve line breaks, quotes and such. This makes it easy to export my products from gallery2 and import into prestashop... so I am still learning thanks!
