Customer did not get confirmation email when purchasing with Bank Wire.

Hi,

 

I just installed PrestaShop 1.4.7.3 and I've removed/disabled all Payment modules except Bank Wire and COD. But when I tested with a fake Customer to purchase a product and make a payment via Bank Wire, the Customer didn't get the confirmation email. If the Customer choose COD instead, he will get the confirmation email.

 

Could someone help me to setup my Bank Wire payment module so that the Customer could get the confirmation email.

 

FYI, I've installed the Email Alert and so that the admin will also receive the confirmation email. And this works fine.

To clarify, after a checkout with Bank Wire customer should receive two emails; "order confirmation" and "awaiting bank wire payment", both after "I confirm my order". Then when you change the status of the order in the back offcie to, e.g. payment accepted, a third email, "Payment accepted". Which one of these arrive/don't arrive?

 

Check that the customer email you are using for tests does not spam them

Check Back Office > Orders > Statuses "Send email to customer" columns are checked for relevant states

I have a similar problem customer should also get my bank account details by email he dosnt receive that email ?? any solution ?

I have this problem a lot, especially whne I have new products and a lot of customers. Then they do not get any confirmation emails and I have to go through the list and send emails to everyone. Very annoying but I do not know how to fix it. When the trafic gets back to normal it starts working again and sending out confiramions. Any solutions to this problem?

Yesterday, the orderconfirmation and the awaiting bank wire transfer e-mail s were sendt, now I only receive the orderconfirmation.

Yesterday I changed the name in the status field on the left hand side of the table of awaiting bank wire to danish (afventer bankoverførsel), then the awaiting bank wire e-mails stopped being sent. Still using the same template for sending e-mails as before.

I have changed it back to awaiting bank wire, then it works. Still I do want it to be written in Danish.

How to fix this???

Make sure you have a template for Danish in the module folder. Look for /mails/bankwire/da/ directory.If it does not exist, duplicate one of the other languages and translate.
