mayday78
Hello all, I'm attempting to upgrade our store from 1.2.5 to the latest stable version - 1.4.7.3 I thought I made it all the way through, but I'm having a problem with what I think must be related to the .htaccess file, or friendly urls, or the translations - but really I have no idea. The homepage loads: http://1473.outdoorstore.ch/ (it doesn't look good, but that's not the problem). Problem is: None of the links work. They all result in an apache generated 404 error page saying 'Object not found' I am even willing to pay $20 via PayPal to the first person that can provide me a fix. Many thanks in advance! Mike Kranzler
Hi Cory, Have you already regenerated your htaccess in your Back Office under Tools > Generators? -Mike
mayday78
I'm not able to access the backoffice. It also results in a 404 error. I've tried using an .htaccess file that looks like this: # URL rewriting module activation RewriteEngine on # Send outdoorstore.ch --> www.campfire.ch RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^1473.outdoorstore.ch$ [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://1473.outdoorstore.ch/$1 [L,R=301] # URL rewriting rules RewriteRule ^([a-z0-9]+)\-([a-z0-9]+)(\-[_a-zA-Z0-9-]*)/([_a-zA-Z0-9-]*)\.jpg$ /img/p/$1-$2$3.jpg [L,E] RewriteRule ^([0-9]+)(\-[_a-zA-Z0-9-]*)/([_a-zA-Z0-9-]*)\.jpg$ /img/c/$1$2.jpg [L,E] RewriteRule ^lang-([a-z]{2})/([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)/([0-9]+)\-([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)\.html(.*)$ /product.php?id_product=$3&isolang=$1$5 [L,E] RewriteRule ^lang-([a-z]{2})/([0-9]+)\-([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)\.html(.*)$ /product.php?id_product=$2&isolang=$1$4 [L,E] RewriteRule ^lang-([a-z]{2})/([0-9]+)\-([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)(.*)$ /category.php?id_category=$2&isolang=$1 [QSA,L,E] RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)/([0-9]+)\-([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)\.html(.*)$ /product.php?id_product=$2$4 [L,E] RewriteRule ^([0-9]+)\-([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)\.html(.*)$ /product.php?id_product=$1$3 [L,E] RewriteRule ^([0-9]+)\-([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)(.*)$ /category.php?id_category=$1 [QSA,L,E] RewriteRule ^content/([0-9]+)\-([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)(.*)$ /cms.php?id_cms=$1 [QSA,L,E] RewriteRule ^([0-9]+)__([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)(.*)$ /supplier.php?id_supplier=$1$3 [QSA,L,E] RewriteRule ^([0-9]+)_([a-zA-Z0-9-]*)(.*)$ /manufacturer.php?id_manufacturer=$1$3 [QSA,L,E] RewriteRule ^lang-([a-z]{2})/(.*)$ /$2?isolang=$1 [QSA,L,E] # Catch 404 errors ErrorDocument 404 /404.php And also tried simply removing the .htaccess file. Dh42
Are you comfortable using phpMyadmin? One thing that will help sort it out is to turn your ssl off for the time being.
mayday78
Yes, I'm comfortable with phpMyAdmin. I don't see why turning off SSL would help, but I'm certainly willing to try that. How do I do it? (I use to do it in the Backend, but can't access that now)
Mike Kranzler
Hi mayday, You can do this in the ps_configuration table inside phpMyAdmin. Under PS_SSL_ENABLED, just change the value from 1 to 0 and that should deactivate SSL for you. I hope this helps. -Mike
mayday78
Okay, turned off SSL ... but not seeing anything new. - Cory
Dh42
Now see if you can make it to your admin area. Instead of just going to the adim directory trying adding index.php so that it will take you to the actual page.
