Static text in header.tpl?

I have removed the links for sitemap and bookmark from the header.tpl. I would like to have the our contact phone number replace these links but I am unsure what code to type or where to type it. Any help would be great. Thanks

Hi jumpink,

If you're just looking for static text in your header.tpl, you can type it directly at the very top of the file. However, you will likely need to make some code changes for appearances sake to get it to fit in with the rest of your site.

If that is how you're looking to do it specifically, it will actually require some custom coding.

It does not have to be like the graphic shown. I just want to have a phone number listed anywhere visible on the home page. I have seen this question asked many time without a definitive answer.
