PayPal "Please refer to logs:" error

Recommended Posts

I have seen a few other forum posts with this problem. When a customer of mine goes to check out they get:

Please refer to logs:

  1. PayPal response:
  2. TIMESTAMP -> 2012-05-01T19:05:30Z
  3. L_ERRORCODE0 -> 10002
  4. L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> Security error
  5. L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> Security header is not valid
  6. L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error
  7. PayPal returned error

I carefully went back to PayPal and verified my API information was all correct.

Does anyone know how to get past this issue with the checkout?

Using PrestaShop™ 1.4.7.0

I am working my way through the posts on that thread, but I am stuck at one point. Where are the "Settings" so I can check the sandbox settings?

This is in your PayPal module. It is the second tab once you click on "Configure."

I hope this helps.
