mk14steve
A little help needed, prestashop 1.4.7.3. Can anyone point me at a Tutorial for setting up PayPal Sandbox on Prestashop? A number of searches give me results that make reference to a "sandbox mode" but I cannot find any such parameter in the paypal module settings. I have created my sandbox biz accounts and personal accounts to test with, but how do I fill in the parameters on the prestashop paypal module settings? The API signature I managed to find, but the API username and password? which do I use? There's the 'sandbox account' signon and also the emails/pwd combinations for the test accounts created. But how do I configure prestashop to send the txn to the sandbox and not the live system? I think Prestashop is trying to send the sandbox credentials to the live site and this is why it is failing. I have tried many combinations but they all end in an error... where is this "sandbox mode" parameter? Is there an idiots guide to setting this up anywhere? [UPDATE 15:20 : I have found the sandbox mode setting - it's set to active now. Don't know why it still isn't working though. But hey I will figure it out I guess ... but if anyone know of an idiots guide I would still like to see it ... ]
mk14steve
OK. I am having some success with the sandbox and prestashop. I discovered this https://www.x.com/node/2729 and it gave me just enough information to experiment with and I appear to be able to buy goods from my test shop and pay with my sandbox accounts to my sandbox test account. Things going well. I might just write some sort of tutorial myself for others ....
Guest locen
Hi, i use prestashop 1.6.0.9 and paypal 3.10.8. Paypal is europe version In sandbox mode i see "awaiting paypal payment." I make this test because after 17june paypal will update all security policies. If in sandbox mode I receive this status all will work fine?
