how to replace the globe.css file on the server?

I use Dreamweaver edit the globe.css file in my local computer to make my online store webpage better fit I wanted, how can I to replace the globe.css file on the server? just use the same name globe.css on the local computer to replace the same name file globe.css on the server then should be ok, the webpage wil change to what I want and there is no problem, or I have to go to the server to open the globe.css on the server then edit it step by step to the same result on my local computer? which one is right? anyone can tell me , thank you very much, I will be very appreciate.

You mean, you need to copy the file globe.css from a server and thn you want to edit it in DW.?

Just upload the edited global.css file back into your theme css folder
