Custom frontend

I'm looking for an advice. Prestashop looks nice, especially administration page, but I need my own frontend. And by saying frontend I mean something absolutely different than anything else. So, my questions is: Is there an easy way to write my own php scripts (just include some files, execute few functions and register/login/order will work as they should)? Or do I have to check out all mysql tables and try to figure out which ones contains customer/product/order data and how I should insert data into them?

 

Those the things that bother me, because the categories and products lists are quite easy to do, so I won't have problems with them.
