VPupkin
Hello, I'm not sure about this subforum, sorry if i chose wrong one. Is it possible to create functional analog of, for example abelandcole.co.uk on PrestaShop? I mean shop, blog and catalogue with recipes on one site? I think it's possible, but does anybody tried to do this in real life?
Dh42
Sure, just for the parts that are not a shopping cart, you would be best using something like wordpress.
VPupkin
There may be a lot of problems. For example, one of the platforms will be updated and the integration is lost. And the layout of different template, too, adds a complexity. I will try this only if somebody build such site and support it for more than half a year. Anyone? Dh42
I do it frequently. Go to this url and put something in your shopping cart. http://eosremote.com/ then go to this url http://eosremote.com/que notice that the shopping cart still works and you can log in and everything. the sub directory que is actually a wordpress installation running event espresso. you are totally out of Prestashop when you are in the que directory.
VPupkin
Looks awesome, but there are wrong links in the bottom of the page: Your Account Personal information Addresses and so on. All links lead to an 404 error because of "que" in them. And I think I found a typo: on the order page "IF YOU THINK YOUR SYSTEM HAS A VIRSUS PLEASE DO NOT PROCEED CLICK HERE". Dh42
You are good. That is not taottally live yet, but they are hard coded links which are easily changed.
