cmiller82
I recently upgraded to the new version of prestashop 1.4.7.3 and changed the database information in the back office to reflect the database I used in a previous version (1.4.6.2). However, I can not seem to log back in to the back office. I also tried using the previous password used with the old database. Does anyone have a solution? Please Help!!! phrasespot
How did you upgrade. Did you do an in place update? Or a new install? Each new install creates a new /config/settings.inc.php file with the values required for a login to work. Following values in /config/settings.inc.php must match the registration time values at login time to allow login, front offcie or back office: define('_COOKIE_KEY_', 'www'); define('_COOKIE_IV_', 'xxx'); define('_RIJNDAEL_KEY_', 'yyy'); // may not exist define('_RIJNDAEL_IV_', 'zzz'); // may not exist You can copy them between installations. Other option is to use 'I forgot my password' but every customer would have to do that as well.
