Problem with zones

Please can some one tell me how can I disable zone as we sell only download products

What does this have to do with zones?

If you have a downloadable product, PS will skipping the shipping stage, so you should not be affected by zones in any way, there is no reason to remove them.

Thanks for your response there are two reason why i need to disable it

1. When i upload a downloadable product and try to check out is say

Their is 1 Error:.

01 No zone match your addres

I have followed all the details and set up a free carrier but it still wont work

2. Also because some of my downloads are bigger in size than that allowed by my Host iPage and cant be uploaded to their server I still include them as normal for sale without instant download them

So will still need to bypass the shipping section to check out

You probably messed something up with the zones, try to restore it to the original state (make sure that each country is assign to a zone.

There is no way to disable zones, or need to (when they are set up properly, or as they were before, you should not even notice them).

 

There are 2 modules that may help you here.

1) Upload files using FTP and assign them as downloadable http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/prestashop-modules/38-batch-downloadable-product.html

2) Same as above, but also give you the ability to assign multiple downloadable files per product, assign files per attribute (which also lets you sell a downloadable copy + physical copy). http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/prestashop-modules/69-batch-downloadable-product-pro.html
