kkim
Sales Tax will be added according to your state sales tax rate. Sales tax is applied to the total retail amount of the order, not including shipping and handling charges (where applicable) and is based on the shipment's destination state and local sales tax rates. In the event that additional charges may apply, we may make modifications to your order and notify you after the order is processed. The following states do not charge sales tax Alaska (AK) Hawaii (HI) Oregon (OR) New Hampshire (NH) Delaware (DE) Montana (MT) New Mexico (NM) New Jersey (NJ) New York (NY) Pennslyvania (PA) Florida (FL) Maryland (MD) Texas (TX) The following states charge sales tax Alabama (4%) Arkansas (9%) Arizona (5.60%) California (8.50%) Colorado (5%) Connecticut (6%) Washington D.C. tdr170
Not sure what the thought is here as you do not charge tax for out of State sales. Taxes should only be applied to states in which you have a physical presence. Also in accordance with the law your must charge tax for your State according to the County tax rate. Example would be in Florida State tax is 6% then each county adds a surtax ranging from .5% to 1.5%. So you would charge 6% + surtax depending on County of sale. bellini13
It is always good when you can do it yourself. I'm glad you figured it out. And yes, when you ask the community for assistance and that takes time and effort, then you should expect to receive responses, and to pay for their time.
