Changing the authentication layout: login left, create account right

Hi guys,

 

I hope you can help me fix this problem I have.. Namely the the authentication page shows create account on the left side and login as registered member on the right side..

I want this to be the other way around, because I think thats more convenient and makes more sense..

 

Any help on how to change that is appreciated.. I looked in the global.css file and in the authentication.tpl file..

 

Are those the files to be in? And what do i have to change?

Hi,

Yes, you have to swap the layout in the authentication template file. In the default prestashop theme the first form starts at line 102 and longs till 116, then follows the second form.

I just installed dreamweaver, because i might be better than just using notepad:P

however, according to dreamweaver the creata account part starts at 74 and till 88 and then already registred starts..

Is this correct? And i can just cut and past the create account underneath the already registered??

installing dreaweaver is an excellent move...I suggest that you learn to run on your localhost so you can test your changes..then sync them to your remote server...make sure to cloak your folder config

Maybe my file has comments and you doesn't, that's why line numbers are different Anywqay yeah, cut and paste and it should be done. Make a backup copy first. You may need to tweak some css data... i don't recall if the margins are set per single form in that page
