akparade
Good afternoon, The currency symbol (£) is AFTER the min and max price in the price filter slider. I can't for the life of me find where to amend this. It shows: 25£ - 65£ and I want: £25 - £65 Any ideas where I can amend this?

akparade
Can anyone have a look in to this for even a tiny sum? Layered navigation price slider min and max shows 45£ etc instead of £45...
Mike Kranzler
Hi akparade, Can you please post a link where we could see this in action? When I click on the link above, I get an "Authentication Required" screen that I cannot bypass on my end. -Mike
Paulito
Good Morning all, I have searched this forum many times to try and find a solution to this problem but with no success. I assume the layered navigation module was designed for the Euro as Prestashop is French but as PS is a truly international ecommerce solution it would be a lot better for the UK, US, Australian users etc to have their currency symbol before the value. £100, $100 etc Hope all you clever folk out there can help Paul

akparade
That was just the directory password protection info, just so Google doesn't carry on indexing. Sorry anyway I changed the Price filter to text box inputs as I could easily re-position the currency symbol with that in the .TPL file.
Mike Kranzler
I'm glad to see you were able to find a workaround! We have reported this to our development team as well, so hopefully we'll soon have a fix for all users. -Mike
akparade
Brilliant, thanks. It's not editable for the slider option as the code merely shows: <div class="layered_slider" id="layered_{$filter.type}_slider"></div> whereas, for the text box inputs there is an actual variable for the currency symbol you can move about. Mike Kranzler
Hi akparade and jhnsticks, We just committed a fix to the SVN to provide a fix for this issue. The problem is that each currency has its own rules for how it should be displayed, and it would be extremely difficult to add a custom rule for each and every individual currency. What we have done is move the currency symbol to a static location that should limit the confusion going forward. Please feel free to download it for yourself from the SVN and give it a try! -Mike
