[SOLVED] I can't uncheck "Display On Sale" in the BO

Hi,

For some reason, if I uncheck "Display On Sale" in the backoffice in the catalog, it still shows after saving.

Any ideas why?

Hi cyremia,

In your Back Office, please go to Preferences > Performance and set "Force Compile" to "Yes" and "Cache" to "No," then refresh your page and let me know if the issue persists.

Hi Mike,

I should have mentioned I had tried this but still no changes. If I uncheck the "Display on sale" and save, it still appears as checked and on the page. We seem to have the same issue when we try to duplicate some products. They don't appear on some of our computers but they do on others.

 

Could it be an issue with the other "caching" option?

 

I tried to delete the cache and Compile file manually using the following steps - but no results:

 

Delete cache manually, clean up this folder:

• Prestashop root folder/tools/smarty/cache
  
• Prestashop root folder/tools/smarty/compile

Thanks for the kind words. As for your issue, can you please post a direct link to a single product that should no longer be displayed as "On Sale," but still is on your end?

 

Additionally, what version of PrestaShop are you using?

Mike. I think I found the solution.

 

To summarise, we had various issues with things not getting updated:

- When clicking on the "Display On sale" in the BO, it would not show in the front office. And vice-versa later on.

- When a page was updated in the CMS in the B, it would not be visible in the front.

- When we duplicated some products they would appear for some users and not some others

 

So it looked like an issue with cache.

Which seem to mention the same problem. BUT the solution mentioned in the Thread (i.e. "desactivate the "Cache" in the caching section) did not work because it did not let me desactivate it. It wss stuck on "Cache: YES".

 

So I found this one:
