Laurent Yeche
Hi, I'm looking for a host for my irish e commerce website. Can you suggest me good hosts for such a website? (irish host preferably) Thanks.
Mike Kranzler
Hi Laurent, I'm not aware of any Irish-specific hosts, but if you choose from one of the hosting providers listed at the bottom of the page here (under Choose a Hosting), you can get a preferred rate for signing up through PrestaShop. I hope this helps. -Mike

OC2PS
Give http://www.umbeehosting.co.uk/ a look. They are London-based, but Level 3, so should provide good throughput for Ireland.

OC2PS
Actually loads of folks have had loads of issues with GoDaddy. Just try searching GoDaddy on these forums... I'm glad it's working out for you, Neapix. But generally it's best to avoid the risk.
OC2PS
PS must be doing really well in the US. Bluehost now offers 1-click-install for PS. Not just that, it is one of Bluehost's featured 1-click-installs... Of course, I would never recommend using one the 1-click-install scripts even if you are on a host that offers it But it's good to see that it's being offered. robinthoms2
I definitely know that truth comes out of a comparison. On the account of the best I know that vpswebserver.com is perfect for running any kind of web sites, especially e-commerce web sites. The thing that really has impressed me is the willingness of the support staff to take the time to explain things to a newbie who asks very basic questions. Yes, we're very happy that BlueHost has chosen to offer a 1-click install option! It may not be for everyone, but we think it will be a great option for our newest users. -Mike
