cryptic86
Please I am in a quagmire as regards how I should set up shipping rates for my client's items. I am going to try to explain how he wants it. There are 36 states in the country. He wants different shipping rate per item for each state. For example, he wants 3 dollars per carton for state A and 5 dollars per carton for state B. How do I set up shipping per item instead of a standard shipping rate? Thanks and I will be very grateful if someone can help me out with this. Thanks. This is the link to the shop.... www.newhavencoop.org/newlifericestore for example, as I have set up from the backend, the cost of a carton is 3150 and to ship within the state is 180 per carton. How do I set it up to bill per item?
bellini13
What should happen if a customer buys 2 of the same item. Or 1 of item 1, and 1 of item 2. It sounds like you are going to need a custom carrier module, that will implement your specific requirements. The core weight/price ranges are not going to cut it for you.
