firezz
Hi, Previously i did some upgrade on the prestashop version and i had turned no on the enable shop. Weeks later once everything is done including fixing and clearning implicit code (suspected from malware) i only realised that i am unable to enable back my shop. I guess the ip address i am using now is difference. So ... is there anyway i can enable this ? can i do it back end via mysql ? kindly assist as the shop has been disabled for quite some time now.... thanks a mill. firezz
Hi Jhnstcks.... thanks but i remember previously when i set it to disable the shop.. i did put in an ip address for maintenance... that means only the user with that ip add should be able to see the front end right ? but.... for my case.... i am for sure using diff ip address now.. so what should i do now ? thanks
jhnstcks
The ip for maintenance has nothing to do with the back-office area, if you are seeing the front-end, and you are certain that you are on a different ip, then your shop obviously i enabled. firezz
hi.. hmmm.... might have some misunderstanding here.. ok.. as for now... - i can see my back end (admin panel / BO) - when i click on the preferences... no such option for the "enable shop" - when i click and see my front end In order to perform site maintenance, our online shop is closed temporarily. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask that you please try again later. Any advise ? thanks

jhnstcks
1. God knows what you have been doing in your back-office, its well messed up. 2. My anti-virus found and blocked malware in your back-office modules page, which could be why its so messed up. I would advise doing a full reinstall of the latest version of Prestashop, you will also need to do a virus sweep of your pc/laptop to make sure the malware hasn't infected it. If it has you will need to change ALL your password etc. The tab that you require to enable your shop has been deleted for some reason.
firezz
yupe.. i noticed that earlier and i have cleaned it... it was some code running all over the index.php and request to get it reviewed has submited to stopbadware.org as well. By the way... it was on an upgrade from version 1.3x to 1.4x and no issue earlier as i managed to "disable" the shop previously after the upgrade. Just that.. somehow.. i am not seeing such tab now. For the so called "deleted tab" can i recheck it from back end via mysql ? *as for the virus.... i am most likely suspected one of the ftp program i was using (ftp explorer) was the one affecting my site. I have uninstalled it and it seems to be... it is behaving pretty good for one of my test site (in which i purposely saved the user name and password to my current ftp (filezilla) and nothing happens so far. firezz
Hi just an update.. i change the value at the ps_tab and pointing it to adminpreference.. and it is showing as usual now:) i have set the shop to live now... thanks in the mean time.. when i compare my other newly instlaled shop with this shop (from the older version upgraded to this version) i am seeing some differences .... as from your advice, it is recommended to do another set of reinstallation again.. will my current data / customer / invoice ... and photo / product all gone. ? should i just do a db backup and this will be fine ? tjhansk
jhnstcks
Personally I would start over totally fresh, new database, new installation. You don't really know what that malware has done to your site/database
