how to make up only "Canada, United State, China" show up in the country tab?

below the attach files is the "SHOPPING CART SUMMARY" details, you can see the tab "Country" , there are many different countries, how can I eliminate all the countries except "Canada, United State, China", that mean I only want "Canada, United State, China" these three can show up in the "Country" tab, where I can do that , anyone can help me? thanks.

Go to your Back office >

Preferences >Geolocation

Then enable

Geolocation by IP address

 

Then below in options disable all the countries that you dont want to access your shop leaving the countries you need

Actually that will just stop people from those countries from accessing the shop, the list will still populate the same for the rest.

I've already tried that when I was asked by a client for the same thing. It doesn't work. I even activated the option 'Restrict country selections in Front-office to those covered by active carriers' and that changed nothing either.

 

I'm still trying to figure that out and the only thing I can think of right now is removing them from the database as I am assuming that is where it is calling them from.

Ok so I didnt read the original question correctly, seems as if the only would be to delete the countries from the db.

You're method makes sense and is the way I thought it would work too. Maybe it is a bug. If not, it certainly should be made an option.
