kinglouie
Hello, Have been a regular reader of this forum and it has helped me a bunch so far! So I have a shop www.dntactical.com that has been hosted by 123-reg who have basically messed me around the entire time and the website you will see is incredibly slow! So I got myself a webfusion server (linux) and thought I would migrate so followed the steps of migration that have previously been posted. It would seem the database is fine and I was able to import that OK but the file upload hasn't seemed to have gone as smoothly. Have a look at dntactical.kinglouie.co.uk and you will see what I mean, blank screen right? It allows me to get to the admin login page but no further. Have attached error from log relating to each. Is it as simple as permissions or something more sinister? As you can see its 2.30 in the morning so have been working on this for a while....... hopefully someone can give me a nudge in the right direction Thanks for looking error log.txt
bellini13
it seems you are getting permission failures to write the cache files. i would go through the installation document, specifically the part where you need to set the folder/file permissions and ensure they are set properly.
kinglouie
Have done this on the front-end and it seems to be working OK. The .htaccess file links me from the subdirectory to the old domain though? An easy fix I am sure? Still no joy with the back-end though
