AFemaleProdigy
I have a $5 minimum purchase limit in my store. Many customers have vouchers that are worth more than $5 and they should be able to purchase whatever they want with them. I set the minimum purchase limit for the vouchers to 0 (zero). The purchase minimum for the store, however, is preventing them from proceeding with orders where the voucher covers the total cost. Can someone help me with this, please? Thanks! phrasespot
I cannot replicate this using the latest version of PS, $100 minimum purchase set, a cart with voucher totaling order total (excl. shipping) and Check or Bank transfer as payment methods. What is the PS verrsion? What is the payment method you are using?
AFemaleProdigy
I apologize. I worded that incorrectly. The problem is that if their total order cost does not meet the minimum, but their voucher covers the total cost, the store minimum will not allow them to proceed. Example: $1.50 Order Total - $2.00 Voucher --------- - $0.50 Remaining Voucher Store purchase minimum: $5 Voucher purchase minimum $0 Customer cannot complete order regardless of the zero voucher purchase minimum, because the $5 store purchase minimum is overriding it. phrasespot
Ah, yeah in that case that is the expected behaviour. Whether the voucher covers the total cost of an order or not, if the order total does not meet the mimimum you specified, it will not work. Look at the example you gave, if the voucher was not there, that order could not be placed. Why it should be when a voucher is added and reduced even more. Either set your voucher purchase minimum equal to the store purchase minimum or make the minimum voucher to be $
AFemaleProdigy
Okay. I suspected that, but was not sure. The way it is presented when setting up the voucher sort of makes it seem like you are setting the minimum purchase amount to zero which should override the store minimum. Oh well. Thanks for the info.
