hurray
I am using Firefox 11.0 and just recently I am facing with a problem. On the backend of my prestashop, the short-description field of a product has greyed-out. I cannot add, remove or edit anything that is there. I do not even see the text. The main description however is fine. Please take a look at the screenshot. I have not been able to work at all due to this problem. Can some one please help? It works with Internet Explorer though. Thanks.

Mike Kranzler
Hi Indus, I have the latest version of firefox 11.0 and it is still not working. I do not use other browser besides firefox. Isn't there a solution? Hi hurray, The bug is with Firefox 11 and compatibility with TinyMCE. Our developers have already pushed out a fix, so you should check out version 1.4.7.3, as indus posted above. This was a change in Firefox that our team had no way of predicting until it is released, but we pushed out a fix as soon as we were made aware of the change. I hope this helps. -Mike
hurray
Hi Indus and Mike, Thanks for your help. Since my site has had a lot of template modifications, I cannot use newer version of prestashop. I guess I will either revert back to old version of firefox or use IE or some other browser. At the same time does it mean that one day it might now work even in IE and other browsers?
indus
If you dont want to upgrade i suggest only changing the old code with the fixes from the new version. Maybe mike or some developer can help with the process. I dont know which part of code is to be changed.

You can find a discussion on this issue here. -Mike
