Help: How to link a Controller to a Hook? Controller-Caching issue

Hi guys,

 

I would like to implement a new controller which shows all categories and I would like to cache it until a new category is added.

 

 

 

Now the question is: Is it possible to hook controllers to a hook in order to empty it's tpl-cache?

 

Any ideas?
