mnkelsch
Firefox, had to go in to the user.js file to edit the long description, but still can't edit the short description.
Mike Kranzler
Hi mnkelsch, That's what I suspected. Firefox's latest release came with a bug in TinyMCE that causes this issue. In this situation, you can either try using a different browser or follow the instructions here to resolve this. I hope this helps. -Mike
findaprezzie
Hi Mike Ive just downloaded the tiny_mce file (newest version) FTP'ed the files to the server and still nothing screen shot is the same as above I can type in the long description box but not the short. I have checked in IE and it works so obviously its the browser I may just change to Chrome for the back end stuff but I was using FF as I was using the firebug tool to edit the theme etc Its going to be a pain if I have to switch between browsers though. Mike Kranzler
In this situation, since it's Firefox issue and not a PrestaShop issue, I would recommend that you try contacting Firefox support to resolve this. Additionally, our official fix will be built-into a future version of PrestaShop, our development team has already put it together and is now just validating and testing it for approval. -Mike
