steviger
Hi all, Is there an easy (standard) solution to hide the ID's in de URL'S. So instead of: /shop/21-miniatuur-beeldjes-amedeo-modigliani I would like this: /shop/miniatuur-beeldjes-amedeo-modigliani Cheers. Steven

tomerg3
It's actually a bad idea to remove those, since the ID is the only way to keep track of renaming of products or categories. Without it, you will get duplicate URLs whenever you make a change to categories or product names (or even change the default category of a product). Fair enough, But to what extent will this influence the SEO of a site? I'm hearing different stories, and most competitors in my sector do not have this ID tag. tomerg3
I have not seen anything to indicate that it does. I have a few sites (Prestashop and other) which have ID's in the URL and they are ranked very very high on popular search terms
