KMiDigital
Hi I am having problems when uploading images, the image to 100% upload and the page hangs. I have three more Prestashop installations running on the same server, with no problems, so I know the server is ok and I have checked the configuration with the others but for some reason it doesn't like this one. Any ideas why this should be happening? Thanks
Fredul
I'm having a similar problem since this morning!? I uploaded new products last night with images whithout any problems, this morning I tried to add a few more products with images and it wont work? I get the message "Update Successful" but the image does not show. I did a quick Google and I've seen that there are more people with a similar problem after they have upgraded to 1.4.7 but I'm still on 1.4.6(.2) so there must something else going here? I tried multiple browsers but they all give the same result.
KMiDigital
Yep it seems to be affecting a few sites. Does anyone have an answer as to why this should be happening? I doubt I will be updating any of my other sites until this problem is sorted.
KMiDigital
Does anyone have an answer to this problem as its making me think I should maybe move to another cart, which I don't really want to do, but if there's no support then what's the point using PS:(

clayton29657
Not sure it has to be a bug within the system. I am not able to use the uploader at all right now within the product descriptions. I only know that's the code cause the error caused my server to reboot my server for security reasons and I asked them why and they did some searching and told me it's in the coding in script
barto89
Maybe a silly question but how many products do you have and how many images? I got about 30 products and on average 3 images attachted to them..
clayton29657
I have roughly 1200 products and roughly 5k images maybe like 100 pages lol yes my site is big and still not finished building it
barto89
Oke clear so it has nothing to do with a sort of limit.. Then something must have changes overnight.. Maybe module updates?? I dont know if i can see that somewhere.. But it is very annoying that i cannot continue to build my site right now, i wanted to finalize the catalog today so i can launch the site soon.. now i have to wait and hope someone can fix/help us.. clayton29657
Hi Barto89, I have spoke with a couple people. One says if you're getting a syntax error either a file has been messed with or it may have done it on it's on. You can download the Prestashop archive and replace the file having the issue on your install by one of the download packages. I have no clue what he's talking about lol so I called into tech support and explained to him our issues and will call me back shortly, I am hoping the will provide a software update to fix this issue. I will update once again after i speak with him again. I hope soon all of our issues will be resolved. Clayton

clayton29657
ok Guys I have got my site fixed. My web hosting server was kicking me out with security measures on my site which in hand caused the Syntax Errors. Now all this time i am able to load images again lol. I do want to thank Thomas Didierjean and Bert at Prestashop for all their help with this matter throughout the day. And to think my host told me last night it was Prestashop coding issues in the ajax.php files lol If anyone has Modsec on their hosting then you may want to speak with them if you start to have issues with loading images or syntax errors with pics and videos.
KMiDigital
Hi Guy's In the end I just decided to cut my losses and reinstall the whole thing just in case. It seems to have worked but then again the site was only at the start and there wasn't a lot of content in it. If it happens again I doubt I will do this, I'll probably just look at another cart. barto89
My problem still isnt fixed, now i found out that it might be a limit problem.. when deleting a picture i already had, i can upload a picture but after that the next picture i upload will show an error.. tried it a couple of times, there seems to be a limit.. Thomas Didierjean
Hi barto89, There are, of course, no limits to the number of images you can have in PrestaShop. If there is a limitation, it is likely that you have reached the maximum disk space that your host is allowing, or that there is something wrong on their side. Regards, Thomas Dear Thomas, Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I havent been able to upload just yet, but i called my provider told my that they indeed had a 100mb limit set.. They appologized for that and are going to up the limit free of charge.. since my root contains about 80 mb it is very likely that this is the problem cause my database isnt counted yet.. So if i get confirmation of the provider that is has upped my limit, i will try and verify if it works.. I hope and think this will help me.. Please wait for my confirmation.. clayton29657
Hi KMiDigital, Did you at least back up all your database before re installing it so you not loose all your work?
