jkcpa
I'm trying to upload a 45kb PDF file for a catalog item and I'm getting an internal server error. Any ideas?
Guest
jkcpa, in your config directory please edit config.inc.php and set the following to on @ini_set('display_errors', 'off'); Try uploading a file and see if you get any more info.
jkcpa
Ran it with display errors set to on - still just says internal server error.

tomerg3
Do you mean you're trying to upload it as a downloadable product? What version of PS are you using? Does it work with a 1k file?
jkcpa
Version 1.4.7.3 (current). Not a downloadable product, an attachment. Catalog section, open a product, top of the screen, tab #7 Attachments. Didn't work on 1.4.7.0 either.
tomerg3
Do you have any problems uploading other files (Images)? What are the folder permissions for /download ? and were you able to upload a 1k file?
jkcpa
Images upload with zero problems. Download directory permissions look fine - changed them to allow anyone everything and still had the error. Tried to attach a text file with 1 character in it (1 byte) - still the same error. tomerg3
Can you check the main error log of the site (usually found in cpanel). That should show the actual error, since error 500 is a generic error.
