'NO CURRENCY' ERROR IN PAYPAL

paypal only supports certain currencies, if your shop allows for a currencynot supported by paypal , then you will receive this error.

For example if I had Colombian Peso's COP defined, then I would need to change the paypal currency to default shop currency (which must be one of the supported currencies). Hope that helps.

Thanks for reply. I had British Pound as default currency in Prestashop and in PayPal account which I'm assuming should be working fine.

I solved the problem by deleting a module, then reinstalling it again and within Settings I removed all API details. I left them blank and the payment has worked correctly.

I am having the same problem using only major currencies of the world, such as USD, GBP, etc. It was working fine the week I just set it up, but now it is giving me the "no currency" blank page.

Would you kindly tell me that particular module that you deleted and re-installed later? Did you mean to say you also deleted the API details in the PayPal module?

I am also having the same problem. I can get to paypal and sign in to paypal and then get the button Pay now. But when I press it I get sent back to my web site with a blank page that says No Currency. No payment is made to paypal, nothing shows up in the BO orders and my cart still has it's products in.

Can someone at least give an indication that this is being looked into. There seems to be a lot of people with this issue, not just on this forum but other forums as well. What use is prestashop if it can not accept PayPal payments!!

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP

Simon
