Help - Too many upgrade problems, images, subcategories, short descriptions

1 - All images have disappeared, even thou they are there. Image addresses when hovering over missing image all refer to typically myshop/subcatname/image10.jpg that is if sub category is 'tree' then the address is myshop/tree/image10.jpg I have tried regenerating images but have had no luck. Any ideas please.

 

2 - Any subcategories in the category block when clicked comes up with error 404 page ie "Page not available - We're sorry, but the Web address you entered is no longer available"

 

3 - All the product short descriptions have disappeared, and the short description text editor in the admin product page does not work.

 

4 - None of the information block links work.

 

Any ideas please.
