Accessories Out of Stock

Using 1.4.7.0

 

When displaying accessories for a product, I get the "Out of Stock" messsage and the "Add to cart" button disabled. The Product (the one listed as an accessory) has the "Available for Order" switch turned off. Shouldn't the accessory be displayed with only the View push button when the "Available for Order" switch is turned off?

 

Stock = 0 or Stock > 0 does not change it when "Available for Order" is off

Preferences->Products - Allow Ordering of Out of Stock Products (yes or no) does not seem to change it.

 

Any assistance would be appreciated.

We are still setting up.

This product has 1 accessory. The actual product the accessory refers to is marked as NOT available for order.

The way the shop is written it still displays the button if the accessory is out of stock.

I'm not worrying about the button displaying when the item is out of stock. I was wanting the add to cart button and the out of stock message to not appear on the accessory when the Product is marked as Not available for order. It does it correctly on the product page.

 

Is there a modification that I can make to the code to have this happen?
