Rss feed block suddenly not working

Hi there

 

I have the rss feed block module which shows articles from my blog. It has been working fine ever since I opened the shop a few years ago, but just noticed today that it is not pulling though

and says 'no rss feed added'. But if I check the back office all looks good and I can see the feed I have added works just fine http://magickblog.st...gifts.com/feed/

 

I am running 1.4.4.0 and have been for several months without problems so I am guessing it is something to do with wordpress updating perhaps?

[EDIT] Just checked my other prestashop site running 1.3.2.3 and I can see I have the same problem with brining a different wordpress feed into it so it must be something to do with wordpress.

I am having exactly the same issue - it has worked fine for 2 yeras and then all of a sudden has broken in the last few weeks and will only show "No RSS feed added" despite the fact that the url for the feed is correct

Finally figured this one out - I twigged that the issue started occurring around the same time as the admin area started asking me to activate allow_url_fopen, so I simply added allow_url_fopen=on to php.ini and now all works just fine. The host must have changed something recently.
