kikbo
English What's the best way to offer extras, such as a warranty associated with a product or a guarantee that the product will be shipped same day (regardless of the speed of shipping or carrier) For example, New Egg offers a warranty for extra $ here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834246310 How do I achieve the same thing or similar in Prestashop. Thank you! Merci Beaucoup!

Prescol
Using combinations, or accesories. You can create a combination that adds some fee per guarantee service, or you can create a product called extended guarantee and put it as accesory. kikbo
Having looked at combination, I see now that that's absolutely correct. Thank you for your time and help.
ozcomp
Hi all. My problem too. I'm setting up my store and experimenting with several issues. I tried setting up Extended Warranty as attributes and making combinations. Problem is, I have 3 colour choices and 3 warranty options - 1 year free, 1 year extended, and 2 year extended. This gave me a stock availability of 9 when in fact I have only three. I also thought of making the extended warranties separate products and perhaps having them as accessories. If so can they be linked to the product in some way or even better can they show as an option in the cart before checkout? What about product packs? I haven't tried that yet. Hmmm... maybe the answer. I'll let you know how it goes. Any suggeations or advice gladly received and thanks for sucha great community and great product. Just LOVE Open Source!
