Virtual Assistant
I have a page I can't seem to get to accept friendly url. I have enabled friendy url in PS back office, I have created new .htaccess files, I have turned on mod_rewrite on server, as well as cleared cache. site is http://www.braincozy.com/ From Featured Products the heading Kids Lids, it goes to http://www.braincozy...e210-blanc.html this is the correct page, but I want the url to read http://www.braincozy.com/kidslids.htm. Other urls in featured products seem to be fine, so I have messed something up. In PS Tools --> Generators I have: .htaccess file generation Warning: this tool can ONLY be used if you are hosted by an Apache web server. Please ask your hosting provider if you are not sure. This tool will automatically generate a ".htaccess" file that will give you the ability to do URL rewriting and catch 404 errors. Optimization This will add directives to your .htaccess file which should improve caching and compression. Friendly URL Enable only if your server allows URL rewriting. If you have not enabled "Friendly URL" in "Preferences > SEO & URLs" before generating the ".htaccess" file, this feature will not work. Disable Apache multiviews Enable this option only if you have problems with URL rewriting on some pages. Any advice is appreciated.
