[solved] setting up email in PS 1.3.2

Hi

 

Is there a way one can set PS so that if one clicks on the customers email address in the top left of their account area it opens the PS mail server instead of the IE default server?

 

I want emails to be seen to be sent from My PS not my private mail server.

What do you mean by PS email, do you mean order messages (that can be sent when you view an order from the backoffice)?

No, I mean when one clicks on the customers email address next to their name in the top left of their page. (BO - Customer)

There is an email address link next to their name - currently when I click on it opens up an email in my personal OE so it looks as though I am not sending from my PS.

 

For order notifications there is the message area in the bottom left of the page. (PS1.3.2 which I use)

Sorry for the delay but my initial response seesm to have vanished - am trying again with this screen shot of the email address issue in the top LH corner?

You would basically need to go the the page where you see the email option you want (in will be one of the AdminXxxxxx.php file in your admin/tabs/ folder), look for the code that handles the message, and copy it to AdminCustomers.php to the place where the current email link is located.
