Anony
Hello. It would be much needed a formbox (plus a "browse" button) in the item's editing page, for loading an image from an url or to select it from the images which are already in the site's img folder, and put it as the item's first image. With the current method we are forced to load over and over the same pic for each item which requires it, wasting both time and disk space! The top would be some sliding niche, or some dropdown list, wich shows visually the images stored in the folder. Second: it would be nice if there could be also some options (a checkbox?) to select from a category the item's productor's logo as first item's image (so to avoid that ugly "no image selected"), which could be ovveriden singularly for each item in the item page. I guess that these improvements should be added in the core of next prestashop version, 'cause they are a basic functionality. Thanks for your attention. _______________________________________________________________ Disclaimer: I don't know if this is the right place for requests or suggestions (indeed I didn't saw so far anything fitting among the subcategories). Anyway, I write here my requests/suggestions (if it isn't the right place, please move this post to the fitting one). I already asked this in another subforum, but probably it wasn't the right place (instead of telling me that it wasn't the right place, I received just silence or "smart complaints"...). Dh42
Anony, Your first thing can be done. It will not let you select from a folder online, but I copy an paste url from other sites directly into the upload box all the time. It will load them from the other site over to prestashop. You can also do this from the csv import as well. Whic if you csv imported your files you could have the file set up to do the same with the manufactures logo...

At least a reply finally! Anyway, I guess that prestashop coders should take seriously on this issue, 'cause currently it is ludicrous.
