How do I change from one domain to another and still keep all my information?

Hi,

I have just been trying prestashop on a 'free' available domain name. At the moment the shop opens up at this url location:


But,

I need to make it so that it will open up on this domain name:
http://XYZcom for example

What I have done so far is to copy all the files and put them in my folder on my server that is called

So how can I get all the info over

Sorry but I can't find the answer.

I need to make it so it loads straight to the domain name. ie www.mywebsite.com

There was something about a "/" change or something?

Let me clarify. I have copied my information over

Index of /
.ftpquota
prestashop/

Then you click on the prestashop/ link and the page loads up like a "sitemap", but no shop opens.

I see no shop there, only 2 sub-dirs.

It was originaly installed to this url: but I had to click through to make it work at this url


I want it on this url XYZ.com so I copied the folders over in cpanel. But it is just like you say 2 sub-dirs.

find the settings.inc.php (in config dir)

top line -
define('__PS_BASE_URI__', '/');

you need to make it
define('__PS_BASE_URI__', '/prestashop/');

if you dont want it in the prestashop directory leave it as /
