saynernz
Hi there, I have a client who, as they are a butchery, supplies a very localised area. I've begun building them an online store using Prestashop and I am scratching my head as to how to do this. Any advise would be really appreciated! The area consists of a main city where the client is located, and a number of smaller surrounding towns in the same (and a couple in the ajacent) provence. They are going to allow people pay instore as an option, which is no problem. They also deliver on certain days to the city and the smaller towns mentioned above. Days and fees change from area to area. From here it gets a bit convoluted as below and I would really appreciate any advice on how to best handle it within Prestashop in order to be able to deal with it all and have it follow as logically as possible for myself and also for the end user. The breakdown is this: --- Within Main City Limits - $8 delivery or FREE when the order totals $50 or more. Tues & Fridays only. Same day delivery. --- All towns along a certain highway - $8 Tues & Fridays only. Same day delivery. --- All towns along another certain highway - $8 Tues & Fridays only. Same day delivery. --- All towns along yet another certain highway - $8 Thursdays only. Same day delivery. --- Small Local Town 1 - $12 Tuesday only - Next day Delivery --- Small Local Town 2 - $8 Thursday only - Next day Delivery --- Small Local Town 3 - $10 Thursday only - Next day Delivery So I'm wondering if the best way would be to customise Zones and perhaps adapt the Counties tab to accommodate? Or is it best to set these up as different carriers? Any ideas, advice or cautions would be very much appreciated.
Digital Essence
Hi, did you ever get this resolved? I have a customer who wants to ship to a select few towns (not states or postcodes) and I'm having a mare of a job.
