gerbilmore
Hi there, A Prestashop 1.4.6.2 website I've recently setup is throwing up some problems when accessed from some corporate networks (ie. my friends and I at our various workplaces). At certain points, generally during the login / create account / checkout process, the site is blocked seemingly by the firewall with a proxy error of some kind. It's not a Prestashop error page but the standard access denied message given by a firewall / network to block access to certain web pages. This occurs on a number of corporate networks that the site has been tested on, so it's not just related to one network. Access to the site from home and elsewhere is fine. Any ideas what might be causing this? No other e-commerce websites appear to be blocked in this way (Amazon, eBay, etc.) so I'm not sure what the problem is. Is it a Prestashop bug? Can anyone advise? Thanks.
Guest
Just a guess but … This may be coming from one of the JavaScript’s. I haven’t used a version of Prestashop less than V1.4.7.0, so I don’t know if your version uses CCC. CCC bundles all scripts into one compressed download to be more efficient. If you have CCC on you will need to turn it off and one by one turn off modules until you find the one that has the script that is not making it through the corporate firewall virus software. If you can do that you can then modify the script or replace the module with another. On the other hand if you do not have CCC enabled, try turning it on, it might help the js script sneak through the firewall.
