convert unsupported currency

when use in store currency that not supported by Paypal, with Express Checkout, by click on "Pay with Paypal" button, Paypal will return error with code "currency is not supported". Does it possible modify Express Checkout API automatically convert this unsupported currency into one supported by Paypal (Eur for example), before sending request to Paypal gateway? (fixed exchange rate ok)

You need define defalut currency in you paypal accout and you need have active the same currency in you back office, i hope this can help you

Yes that already is, but buyer has selected currency in store that not supported by Paypal. So I mean to convert the ending price to PayPal-supported currency and request the payment in that amount.

When you choose a default currency, automatically switch to that currency at the time of checkout with PayPal, now that the problem could be that paypal does not support payments in the currency of the country of the client, if so, i think you can not do much to fix it.

I still have problem with Express Checkout, when in front end are selected default currency, which is not supported by Paypal (but which are Shop default currency anyway), clicking on Express Checkout return error. Why Prestashop module did not convert that unsupported currency in Paypal supported currency which already has been set in 'Currency restrictions' section for Paypal payment module?
