KSteele
I have a fresh install of Prestashop 1.4.7 and I have enabled taxes and been back and forth for 2 days straight looking for a solution here... I am 99% sure all tax options have been enabled correctly, cleared both the site cache and browser cache each time I made a change - yet, this is still not working out for me. I even went so far as to manually change the tax group id in the sql tables and tax began to work - but added tax to ALL states instead of just US-CA (which is what I set it to) this is very disturbing as this is the last thing to do before going live. I currently have a 0% tax rule for country US and Sales-taxes US-CA 8.25% set to "Apply both taxes" in the backend.... all other states are set to "no tax" but again no luck. I have my default country set to US and currency default is the same.... I do save my changes every time... so this is not an issue. I don't have time to revert to an older copy of Prestashop for this to work... (unless forced to - but really not my favorite option as this has been a full week + of very long hours to get this far and the site has been down all this time and only taking phone orders) Please help if you can.... thanks for reading, "K"
KSteele
Something I just noticed in the sql tables.. (don't know if this is the issue or not) for "ps_product" I see where the "id_tax_rules_group" is defined... but I do not see another table to define the tax id for the state? So, yes I can define the tax group rule for each product here but not the state id? Don't know if I am looking in the right place... but it just makes sense that they would be in the same place??? maybe not.... any help would be greatly appreciated.
