[SOLVED] Stock control notifications & supplier ordering

Hi folks,

 

I have a client who would like to receive notifications of items that have become out of stock, or a centralised list of items that need re-ordering from suppliers that can be downloaded in some tangible data format like XLS, CSV etc.

 

Is there some part of this functionality in the core of PS or is there a module or combination of modules that already do this?

Hi Torbz,

You can set up stock notifications using the built-in Mail Alerts module. I hope this helps.

That's a good start, I was thinking to also have an export function for items out of stock into a spreadsheet, so the client can re-order items from their supplier quickly and easily.

Hi

I would love to get a notification when a combination of attributes run out.

 

fx. I have a pair of pants in size 4, color; Brown that is out of stock.

 

Is there anything I can do to get a notification when this happens.
