noesac
My current host is way too slow so I'm about to migrate it to another one. I have heaps of marketing feeds and various other sites / analytics etc that hang off my site...however I'm thinking since they all connect to my URL (e.g. www.site.com/datafeed.xml) instead of an IP address, I'm thinking it should be pretty smooth...unless i'm overlooking something? The only thing I can think of that might be a little bumpy is the SSL certificate. I've decided that since mine only has 6 months left, I'm just going to buy a brand new one to make the transition as seamless as possible. Any thoughts on this? Has anyone else done a similar move recently and have any advice to share?
Prescol
None. As you say, analytics and similar works with domain names and their codes.Only remember to change settings in config->settings to the folder of the new domain and new database passwords.
