Shipping Rates Per Product Listing, Integration and Themes

Recommended Posts

Hi - I am just building my store for the first time tonight and I have a few questions that I can't seem to find answers to yet. Hopefully, someone can help! :)

1) Shipping Rates Per Product Listing

I make and ship custom wedding favors of varying sizes (all of which are fairly heavy in large quantities). For that reason, I use Priority Flat Rate shipping to save my customers on the otherwise high cost of shipping.

My challenge is in listing shipping rates based only on weight or cost. While $150 in mini favors would fit in a medium flat rate, $150 in mediums will fit in a large flat rate.

Is there any way I can define shipping rates for each size? $150 in mini ($11 shipping) versus $150 in medium ($15 shipping)? Even better, can I simply assign a shipping cost to each product instead of an overall site rule?

2) Themes

I know I must be missing it somewhere, but I can't seem to find where the catalog of free themes exists within Prestashop? I was under the impression there might be more designs or at least color from which to choose. Is this correct or will I need to purchase?

3) Integrating

I already have a website that I have designed and like. It is very simple and clean. I'd like to make my store be part of that site. For example, instead of clicking on store button in the menu of my site and going to an entirely new design, I want my customers to click on the store button in the menu of my site and find it a seemless transition where the appearance still looks like my own site with my exisiting header, footer, etc.. Is this possible?

Thanks to everyone for your help and advice!!!
