How do I change my admin password?

I don't get it, when i edit my account in employees, there is one password field where it says "Leave blank if you do not want to change your password"

 

I can't put a new password in there, if I do that I get "the field passwd is invalid", if i put my existing password there it just saves the settings and dose not let me pick a new one :S Really anoying..

Once logged in the BO look at the top left and you'll see below your shop name the links for logout, view my shop and My preferences. Click on My preferences and change your employee password there.

 

I believe there are minimum password requirements defined but don't recall what they are. You may be getting the message due to that.

Right now I am the only admin on my shop. I went to "top left" "My Preferences" and see a box for password. The side reads "leave blank if you don't want to change your password". I do want to change it. So I type in the one I want it to be but I get an error that reads "Invalid Password" . Doesn't matter what I put in there it won't take it. Is there a definitive answer to this question? How do I change my password from the garbled automatic one that is nearly impossible to remember?

i think your paswort is to short, try a large one maybe 8 char and one with numbers letters (upper & lowe case) this should work
